Tiggy spent 30 years producing TV commercials in London.
During that time she bought her first cottage in Dorset at Nether Compton near Sherborne. She has had a foot hold in Dorset ever since.
Radio became a part of her life when she married Radio 2’s Johnnie Walker. She had never thought of presenting until 9 years ago when the Controller of BBC Radio Solent told her she had a great radio voice and gave her 25 fill in shows. Since then she has done two Breakfast shows on Radio 2 with Johnnie (standing in for Terry Wogan!), and has recently been co-hosting on two local radio shows in London.
Now Tiggy is a writer and lives in Shaftesbury. Her first book “Unplanned Journey” was a frank account of going through breast cancer. She has written a screenplay and two novels which her agent hopes will soon be published. She is also Johnnie’s agent/manager and Co-Patron with him of the charity Carers UK.
She is thrilled to become a part of Abbey 104.
